AND let me tell you, I don't do glitter. And if I do, well I get it everywhere! Therm O Web's Glitter Dust Spray is GREAT! Glitter that doesn't spill AND stays put without flaking?! Sign me up, I would use glitter more if every glitter was like this!
Supplies: Pattern Paper-My Mind's Eye Sweet Caroline; Ink-Prima Chalk Ink; Flair-Paper Bakery; Ribbon-various sources; Washi-Target; Vellum-WorldWin Papers; Doilies-Hobby Lobby; Wand-unknown; Adhesives-Therm O Web
Cover the base of your wand with Zots Singles Jumbo. If a wand is not available, cut a shape out of cardboard and glue a stick on the back. Cut the Zots as needed to fill the shape of wand. Cover with pattern paper. Sand and ink edges of shape if desired.
Run ICraft Adhesive tape around edge of shape and then attach ribbon. After ribbon is attached spray wand with Glitter Dust Spray Pink.
Layer doilies and adhere them together with Zots Jumbo. Spray with Glitter Dust Spray in Silver. After they are dry to touch (about a minute or so) attach them to the back of the wand with Zots Jumbo.
Use the 3D Foam Squares to add detail to the front of the wand. Spray individual elements that are added with Glitter Dust Sprays in Gold and Iridescent. Layer elements for desired look.
Wrap wand handle in washi tape and add ribbons at base of wand as desired. Wired ribbon works well to get curls in the lengths of ribbon. I cut the butterfly out on my Silhouette and then sprayed it with the Glitter Dust in Gold.
Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Halloween!
Such an adorable project, Katrina!!
