Warning! A blog hop today and then lots of guest design projects from My Creative Scrapbook coming down the pipeline this next week!
If you didn't come from Kiwi Lane's blog, have you heard of Kiwi Lane Designs? Well, I hadn't but then my dear online friend, Kristy, went to work for them. They have shape/border/embellishment designer templates that you use to create your pages with. These are perfect if you don't have a die cutting machine, OR don't want to drag it along to the crop with you.
Kristy asked me to play along in their blog hop this month. From the 10 blogs that are participating, a random winner will be drawn for a 25.00 Kiwi Lane gift certificate just for leaving a comment!
I was given the Celebrate set to create with. This set has cloud, ballon, paisley, triangles, and more!
And here is what I came up with. I used the cloud, triangle, and swoop templates for my layout. Picture is a random shot while being the passenger!
Supplies: Pattern Paper-American Crafts (Amy Tangerine Sketchbook); Twine-May Arts; Letters-American Crafts (Black/Yellow) & Jillibean Soup (white); Stapler-Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher; Die-Cuts-American Crafts (Sketchbook); Stencil-Studio Calico (stars); Mist-Heidi Swapp Color Shine (Teal); Neon Washi-Paper Issues Etsy Store; Adhesive-Scotch ATG, Scrapbook Adhesives, Fabri-Tac; Punch-Stampin' Up; Pen-Sharpie
I used the template to make the cloud, then I used my stencil and mist to put some stars on the cloud. I used the template for the triangle and then just border punched each edge. I stacked them on top of each other, varying the length slightly. I covered where they met with a banner strip and that cute camera.
I used the "swoop", as I call it, template and made a banner piece for most of my title. I just folded the curves on each side to make it look like it was standing.
So, make sure and leave a comment! You might just win a gift certificate to Kiwi Lane. Now you are to head over to Charity's blog as your next stop! Thanks for stopping by!
