Well, I got braved and signed up for Growing in Unity (or GIU as I am going to call it from now on). GIU is where you sign up, and then post a new project all week long. On Wednesday, Unity features you and one of your projects on the Unity blog. Needless to say, I am a little nervous!
Also, the best part is that ONE person will win a kit of their choice (from a list that I have) from commenting here all week!!! So, you know you are going to want to be in on that one!!!
So, let's get to it. Most stampers are card makers, but I have gotten to where I love to incorporate stamping into my layouts!! If you are a regular here, you know that!! So, there will be some card inspiration along with some layout inspriration.
So, here's my first layout this week. I am going to show you how it's VERY simple to just add one stamp to a layout. Easiest way and the way I started with Unity....journaling blocks! And Unity has a ton of them!
Supplies: Pattern Paper-Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker Summer collection; Stickers-Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker Summer and It's Your Day collections;
Brads-Nikki Sivils, Scrapbook Cool Cord Brads;
Stamp-Unity Stamp Co.-Total Cuteness; Letters-American Crafts Thickers;
Punches-Martha Stewart and EK Success; Twine-The Twinery Baker's Twine;
Ink-Jenni Bowlin
Adhesives-Scotch ATG and Scrapbook Adhesives
So, if you are looking for a way to incorporate stamping into your layouts, there is a super easy way! I just stamped that little journaling block on some fun pattern paper (or you can use plain cardstock!), wrote my journaling, and then dressed it up with a few stickers that I pop dotted for some dimension!
Don't forget to comment!!! And come back tomorrow....I haven't decided what I am going to put up yet!!!
I'm commenting, I'm commenting! LOL! I loveeeeeee that lo!! I loveeeeeeee how you took the small banners and put it on top of the bigger ones!! You ROCK! :):):):):):):):):):):):)
