Feeling Slothy Anyone?!

Is anyone feeling a little slothy today? I know I am! The Monday after a holiday weekend is the worst! We keep the 4th of July low-key, mainly because of the dogs. Plus, we have a neighborhood that insists on shooting fireworks even though they are illegal inside the city limits! The houses are close together and it could spell disaster if one landed wrong.

I went all kinds of crazy with Deco Foil Flock and Metallix Gel. I decided to combine the two on the same stencil and I was quite happy with the way it turned out.

And confession....the sloth that is interacting with us in the pictures is a male named Scarface! The females were hanging out in a corner at the top of the room and keeping tabs on a two week old baby. SO CUTE, I need to scrap the pictures of the baby also!! And then we heard the next week that the other female had a surprise baby! No wonder they were being shy and just keeping back.

All of the watercolor paintings that I have been seeing inspired my flower crowned sloth! The cut file (from Silhouette) has a flower crown with it, but it was easier just to use the die cuts in the collection to fill in that crown.

I am crushing on the Metallix Gel mixed over the Flock! It did take some planning and patience, but usually those projects are worth it!

I added the inky scribble around the page at the last minute and I feel like it ties the entire page together! And I HAD to use those Heffy Doodle Journaling Strip dies again! They are too perfect not to. I am going to have to find a place to keep my manual die cutting machine out so that it's easy to use.
