Hearts A Flutter Frame with DecoFoil

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I am a lover of heart shapes!  And mixing hearts with DecoFoil from ThermOWeb sounded like a great idea. Add the fact that I recently got a laser printer into the mix and it was a home run in the making!

This was up on the ThermOWeb blog earlier this week.  You can see all the stepout photos and how this came together HERE.  AND if you love this little heart file, you can find the download link for it in my blog post over there!  It's free, so go do it!

Supplies: Pattern Paper-Crate Paper; Flowers, Resin Deer, Ribbon-Maya Road; DecoFoil in Aqua, Champagne and Pink Melon; Adhesive-ThermOWeb; Chalk Paint; Old Frame

Here you can see the three different colors I used. I have a trick for getting those all foiled at the same time, just head over to the ThermOWeb blog to see it!

Originally, I was going to leave the frame as is, without the flowers or deer.  But after letting it sit overnight, I decided I needed to add a little more. Into my Maya Road stash I went! Since I left the glass piece out of the frame, it was easy to add things in.  Another little secret, I hadn't actually thought of the ribbon, but when I trimmed my paper, I accidentally marked the wrong spot to trim!  So, that ribbon at the top is covering up a seam.  It's a happy accident that I am glad happened, because I love how that scallop trim adds to the entire piece!

So be sure to download the file to use in your projects!  I would love to see what you do with it.  Link me up so that I can check it out!  Have a great day!
