If you are into Photoshop at all, you have probably heard of the drawing tablets that you can buy. I didn't really start wanting one until I got my Silhouette. Then...I started thinking more about them. Well, Carleen surprised me for my birthday this year and got me one! I am still trying to figure it out, I just haven't had the time to sit down and play with it.
I snapped this picture because I knew I wanted to scrap the moment I brought it home. I have two confessions about this layout.
1. The date in the corner is NOT the day I got it!
2. I used all older product on this layout, except for the little mini envelope that is under the flower. I have a ton of the American Crafts/Amy Tangerine Sketchbook collection and I thought this was a perfect collection to use for this. Honestly, I just have a hard time cutting into this collection, because I love it so much.
Supplies: Pattern Paper-American Crafts (Sketchbook & Ready Set Go (envelope); Embellishments-American Crafts Sketchbook; Letters-American Crafts Thickers and October Afternoon; Pen-Sharpie; Ink-Memento; Stamps-Laina Lamb Designs; Roller Stamp-American Crafts (Ready Set Go); Adhesive-Scotch ATG and Scrapbook Adhesives; Punch-EK Success

I love the border strips that you can reuse, since they are so cute. I used a couple on the page. I also used Laina's stamps again. I can't seem to stop reaching for them.
I had an envelope that I had cut and decided it was too big for another layout. I just added it under my flower/banner combo. Cute border strip and a Laina stamp again!
I know I occasionally whip out an 8.5 x 11 layout on here, but I had a lot of fun with this one. I just could not get a 12 x 12 format to work. So, if you get stuck, switch up your layout size and see if it helps!
Fabulous layout...and what an awesome gift!!!
