Wow, I can't believe that this month marks the end of my ScrapbookSteals.com design team term. It has been so fun to work with Kristy and the gang over there. I am sure the new team will be fabulous and I can't wait to see who makes it.
I worked with the We R Memory Keepers Sew Ribbon. I got the Flower shaped tool and the two different ribbon packs in a purple color. These ribbon packs have a lot of product on them and would be great to have in your scrapbook supplies for a weekend away/retreat.
I made a card first, using an ombre (graduation of color) technique that is popular right now.
Supplies: Cardstock-American Crafts; Butterflies and Sticker Phrase-Little Yellow Bicycle (Elizabeth Park/Fresh Clothesline); Ribbon and Sew Ribbon Tool-We R Memory Keepers; Adhesive-Scotch ATG, Fabr Tac and Scrapbook Adhesives
Love that crochet ribbon that is in one of the ribbon packs.
I happened to have the Scallop tool on hand, so I volunteered to do a project with it also. I decided on a layout, to show some versatility in the tool.
Supplies: Pattern Paper, Die Cuts and Chipboard Embellishments-Studio Calico (Heyday); Sew Ribbon Tool in Scallop-We R Memory Keepers; Ribbon-May Arts; Ink-Prima Chalk Inks; Punch-EK Success; Letters-American Crafts Thickers and Studio Calico Letter Stickers; Adhesives-Scotch ATG, Fabri Tac and Scrapbook Adhesives

So, as you can see these are pretty versatile to use. I had only used them on cards before trying it out on my layout. I think I will be pulling these out a little more! So, head over to the ScrapbookSteals.com blog and let me know you were there! So sad this is my last full posting.
These are both so stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteI really like that layout. The colors are great together and you've added so much detail :)
