Today is all about cupcakes! Well, the card kind anyway. I sure could eat a cupcake right now also, if we want to talk about it.
I am up over on the 3Birds Design Studio Blog today with a quilled cupcake card inspired by Pinterest. I also have some step out photos of how I made that card. You can check out that posting HERE.
Supplies: Pattern Paper-3 Birds Design (6x6 mini pad, 12 x 12 paper pad, 6x6 foil pad); Tag-3 Birds Design (3D Embellishment Kit); Ink-Prima Chalk Ink; Cardstock-American Crafts; Adhesive-Therm O Web
All 3 Birds products are from the Graceful Season collection.

A2 Cupcake Shaped Card
Design ID #44133
I love the 3D Embellishments Kit. These are so well made and all the work is done for your when you use them!
I used the green foil paper to give my cherry fun little layer in the background. And oh my gosh, I INKED! I hardly ever ink anymore, but it definitely added something to this card.
And call me (maybe-HA!) naive and not thinking things thru, but I was always amazed at how people created shaped cards, but was at a loss as to how they do it. Well, here you go! As you can see the file was layered, one to make the base and then the rest to build the cupcake. SMH, seriously, that easy?!
So, now do you want cupcakes?! I am off to a crop this weekend, which I should be packing for right now. I am planning on spending Sunday doing a lot of pre posting for the blog, so I should have some regular posts on a more regular basis.
Don't forget, you can get 3 Birds Design collection, Graceful Season, on HSN. You can find the collection HERE.
Ok, off to pack! Have a GREAT Friday and a fun weekend!
Oh boy! Adorable!
