So back on my Part One mini album post, I showed a screen shot of my mini as TwoPeas featured project for the day. Ever since I have been posting at TwoPeas it has been a "goal (or dream!) of mine to be the feature project. I guess you could say it was one of my scrappy "bucket list" goals. So, scrapping is all about documenting and that is what I did!
I figured it would be fitting to use some Jillibean Soup to scrap my layout with. Pardon the shadow on the first shot. This is really just a me page and I retook shots a few times trying to get them the way I wanted. I finally just gave up. My spot on the front porch is tricky this time of year because there is a tree that filters the light.
Supplies: Pattern Paper-Jillibean Soup (Grandma's Lima Bean collection); Letters-Jillibean Soup (Blossom Soup and Kraft Alphas); Tags/Diecuts-Jillibean Soup (Grandma's Lima Bean); Doily-Wilton; Flair-{a flair for buttons} Etsy shop; Ribbon-May Arts; Adhesive-Scotch ATG, Scrapbook Adhesives, Fabri-Tac; Pen-Zig; Stapler-Tiny Attacher
Close up of the flair that I have an addiction to! I just tucked the "joy" tag underneath it and then centered everything on a few diecuts.
I always tie my bows separate. I just like the look of them better when I tie them separate. I ran the ribbon the length of the page and tacked it in the back. I did use my Tiny Attacher to staple each end, more for fun than for use!
I have to say it was pretty fun to actually make one of my scrappy goals and then get to scrap about it! Hope everyone is safe on the east coast. I am sending positive vibes that way for you all.
Congratulations, again, on your featured project! That's awesome! Very cute layout!
