I am just going to say it. It's hard, so hard for me to blog right now. I know it will get better, but honestly, I am forcing myself to do this blog post. Just to have some normalcy and some routine would be good for me I know. We miss Higgins terribly, but in the meantime we are worried about Ella and her back issues. We are now waiting on a cart to get here for her to help her get around better once we can get to that point.
I had a crop to go to this weekend, along with projects that were due and needed to be done. I didn't want to go, but I did. I had a few pictures printed before packing for the crop and these were a couple of them. I just cannot do a layout or post one of the dogs for this post. Too hard.....
The June Storyteller Challenge for Just Jaimee was to use our choice of a template for a layout. Score, I can do that and it was perfect since I really wasn't in the mood to think about anything. I love how this layout turned out.
Supplies: Digital Kit-Just Jaimee Storyteller June 2016 VIP subscription; Cardstock-American Crafts; Paper-Epson Premium Presentation Paper; Silhouette Cameo with Print and Cut; Adhesive-Therm O Web
The June Storyteller collection from Just Jaimee over at The Lilypad was the perfect kit to scrap these photos of Lauren graduating from high school. Honestly, when I looked at the pictures after I took them, I was trying to figure out how the heck I was going to scrap them and what I was going to scrap them with. Even though the theme is a little nautical for the kit, it works! And the blues/reds mesh well together!
I have a hard time using 3x4 cards on my layouts. If you want to know the truth, I think it's because I like to pile stuff on my layouts and the cards just don't seem to fit in the mix! BUT, doing hybrid I can shrink those cards down to a size that will work!! That's what I did with this "here and now" card.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Also thank you for the condolences on Higgins. And if you just weren't sure what to write or say, I totally get that too. Bring on Tuesday.
My love and prayers are with you. It will get better-but I know it's a long road to travel. Wishing you peace and joy soon.
