CREATE & Memories-Scrapbook Generation and Pink Paislee

The new issue of CREATE magazine is up and running.  Sadly, this will be the last issue and I am going to miss creating projects for it. Be sure to read the Editor's letter from Debbie for details.

I have this project in the "Product Challenge" section.  I played with Gelatos (yay!) and some Texture Paste from Faber Castell, along with some stencils. I dug into Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane collection for the layout and I loved working with the colors in the collection.

Supplies: Pattern Paper, Canvas Tag, Transparency-Pink Paislee; Cardstock-American Crafts; Gelatos, Texture Paste-Faber Castell; Stencil-Wendi Vecchi; Flair-{a flair for buttons} Twine-May Arts; Adhesive-ThermOWeb; Resin Owl-Maya Road

So, for my challenge, I colored Texture Paste with Gelatos and then smoothed them over a stencil. I then hand cut out the stenciled image and used them as embellishments on my layout!

Believe it or not, I did this at a crop I went to!  I honestly thought I was crazy, but luckily there was room to spread out, get messy and let things dry!

I took my leftover paste/gelato mixture and just spread it on a strip of white cardstock to create a pattern paper piece I could use as an accent on my page. Great way to use up the left overs!

Here is a shot of the cover of the magazine.  So fun as always! Head over to download the issue on the Scrapbook Generation website. You can find the link to download HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great Wednesday!
