Aloha-Guest Designing for The Cut Shoppe

I am guesting for The Cut Shoppe today and I have a project up over on their blog.  I used the fun, new Baxter collection.  So head over there and check it out!  You can find the posting HERE.

I used the Prickly Pineapple cut file, which you can find HERE for both my layout for The Cut Shoppe blog and my card I am sharing here today.  I used a few of the same techniques for both, just a few minor changes.

Supplies:  Pattern Paper-My Mind's Eye; Cardstock-American Crafts; Sequins-WeRMemory Keepers, Crate Paper, Unknown; Letters-American Crafts; Adhesive-ThermOWeb; Gelatos-Faber Castell (Margarita Mix, Mango, Iced Chai, Orange Soda, Bubblegum, Lime)

And yes, I dug out the Gelatos again!  I cannot stop playing with them.  After I did my layout, I knew I wanted to make a card and the gelatos fit right in again!

I created an offset of the cut file to make the background for the die cut.

And I used the same technique, but folding the outer leave up just a bit for more dimension and added fun!   This also doesn't create a lot of bulk either!

So, you have seen it all here!  Head over and check out my layout that I did with that darn cute and lovable Jetson on it!  Happy Monday!
