Along The Fence Row with 3 Birds Design

Yeppers!  I am back again today with another 3 Birds Design Studio layout!  I have a double page layout over on the 3 Birds blog and you can see that layout and it's details HERE.

This picture cracks me up every time I look at it.  Actually I have several, all just a little different with head poses.  This is the cutest one though.  And I knew I had to make the picture big, to enhance the fence row!

Supplies:  Pattern Paper-3 Birds Design (Midday Medley); Stickers-3 Birds Design (Midday Medley Sticker Flair kit); 3D Embellishment-3 Birds Design (Midday Medley); Enamel Dots-3 Birds Design (Pearlescent & Foil Goodies Set); Punches-EK Success; Adhesive-Therm O Web

I wanted to tie in the circles from the other layout I did, so I just used them as an accent.  Then the Sticker Flair kit had this round journaling sticker and I knew I had to use it!

Some of the letters in the Sticker Flair kit.  These are only 3 kinds, there are TONS more!  And see those fun little gems?!  They are from the new Pearlescent & Foil Goodies Set!  LOVE

One of the Midday Medley 3D Embellishments.  They are so fun with the glitter paper in them!

That's all from me today!!  Not sure what I have up my sleeve for tomorrow, so you might want to check back!

Enjoy Life Altered Canvas with Imaginisce

Time for an altered canvas!  If you know me, I love to do canvases.  They are just fun and usually end up in my office at the rate I have been going!

This is up on the Imaginisce blog today.  You can check the posting out HERE.  I have step out photos on how to use the i-Top tool that Imaginisce has.  If you aren't familiar with it, you can make your own brads to match your projects!  Super fun and works great with just plain cardstock also.

I used lots of ThermOWeb 3D Foam Adhesives on this, to give lots of texture and dimension to the canvas.  I am not showing you underneath the flowers though!  Just think about four layers high!

Hope you enjoyed my canvas today.  Be sure to head over to the Imaginisce blog, because you could win an i-Top with some accessories!!!!!

Keep Away-Imaginisce And A Fun Cut File

Whoop!  It's Thursday and that means it's one day closer to Friday, which is fine and dandy by me!  I have an 8.5 x 11 layout for you today.  I like to switch it up!

This is the new Little Princess collection by Imaginisce and I love the soft colors of it.  And it even has TWO different princesses in the collection.  One with blonde hair and one with brown hair!  Who says all princesses have to have blonde hair?  Not me, who changes her hair color every 6-8 weeks!

Supplies:  Pattern Paper-Imaginisce (Little Princess, My Baby); Button-Imaginsce (Little Princess); Twine-May Arts; Brad-Imaginisce with the iTop tool; Cardstock-American Crafts, Bazzil; Letters-American Crafts, October Afternoon; Adhesives-Therm O Web (Sticky Dot Mini Runner, 3D Foam Squares, Fabric Fuse)

Silhouette Cameo with the following cut file
Daniela Dobson Circles

I loved this cute cut file created by my team member at Therm O Web, Daniela Dobson.  I knew as soon as I saw it, it would be super fun on a layout.  She did a WONDERFUL card with it and you can see it at the link above.  The cut file is a FREEBIE!!!  Please thank her if you use it!

I also thought a big brad in the center of the two circles would be fun.  So I got the iTop out and made one that matched!

And the button has white chevrons on it.  They are hard to see in the picture, but oh so cute!  And of course, I had to add a doily!

Thanks for coming by today.  Have a wonderful Thursday and here is hoping it goes quickly.

Fancy Pants with ThermOWeb-Let's Be Explorers

Fun with Therm O Web and the Fancy Pants collection "As You Wish" today here on my little ole blog!  I have a couple of cards up over on the Therm O Web blog today also.  You can find those cards HERE.

Pictures of Jetson, I cannot get enough of them.  These were a year or so ago, after he had been digging in some dirt.  Thank goodness, he just digs a little and then stops.  But his face gets covered and it's so funny.

This layout came together pretty quickly.  I don't know if I was in a zone, or what.  This layout is odd for me because there is minimal pattern paper on here at all.  I did a lot of embellishing (randomly) and just let the pictures shine.

Don't be afraid to place embellishments on your photos if you use acid free materials.  Especially now that everything is digital, you can always reprint the picture.  NOTE:  I have to do that sometimes when I DROP things on my pictures while scrapping!

Thanks for stopping by today for my ThermOWeb/Fancy Pants layout.  Have a great Wednesday!

Ella XOXO-A Gossamer Blue June Layout

Taking time out from scrapping tonight to write this quick blog post! I got one layout done and then things came to a standstill in the part of my brain that is creative.  Guess I needed a break!

Ella and I usually go on a Tuesday to the hospital for pet therapy.  Since we get done around dinnertime (let's clarify, MY dinner!), sometimes I run thru a drive-thru on the way home.  This night the wait was a little long, so I just put my phone up and started taking pictures of her.

The tongue is cracking me up!  I had no idea I captured that shot, until I got home and looked thru the pictures on my phone.  Maybe she was mad, because she didn't get anything!

Silhouette Cameo with the following cut file:

The Cut Shoppe

I thought it would be fun to add the Chic Tags wood veneer on top of the Basic Grey wood veneer.  Then it just needed something, so I added the enamel dots.  I love how it turned out!

My "o's" needed a center!  I added the flair to one and then enamel dots to the others.  I have decided that I am going to USE things and not hang on to them.  Embellishments are meant to be used!!

Thanks for coming by.  I am hoping to start sharing on a more regular basis.  I would love to blog Mon-Fri, but I don't always have something that I can show.  So, then, that creates a problem! Maybe I need to do a schedule type of thing.  I know me though…that probably wouldn't work!

Team Cheeto-June Gossamer Blue Kit Share

Moments, as a hobby photographer I try to capture them.  I AM NOT always successful!  I have a hard time focusing on anything (no pun intended) in basic life, give me a camera and it doesn't get any better.  Although, the camera has made me slow down when I have it in hand and think about what I am shooting.  I am much better when things are still and planned!

If you read here, you know that I do go to dog shows.  Shows like Westminster, but without all the glitz and glam.  Just owners/breeders showing their dog in their breeds hoping for placements, points and ribbons.  BUT, they also like to have fun with their dogs.  And I managed to capture this moment with Krystal and Finn at ringside.  Honestly, I cannot remember if it was before or after they had been in the ring, but it doesn't matter.  This is what showing dogs is about for 99% of the people out there that are showing.  Spending the time with their dogs.

Gossamer Blue June 2014 Main Kit and Add-Ons

Supplies in Kit:  Pattern Paper-Gossamer Blue (Faded Dots *teal and white polka dots-Back and Forth *yellow and grey/white zigzag pattern-Vintage Floral *red/blue/orange floral-Canterbury Court *red tulip paper), My Mind's Eye (Market Street Ashbury Heigts Vingette *red/cream polka dot and pink), Basic Grey (Mon Ami Jardin *grey blue and yellow floral paper-Mon Ami Rue *grey cityscape background); Flair-Evalicious (Hello 2014); Wood Veneer-Chic Tags (Let's Go Places); Letters-Jillibean Soup (Alphabean Board Letters); Puffy Stickers-Evalicious (Hello 2014); Arrow Sticker-Jillibean Soup; Digital Files from Gossamer Blue; Tag-Chic Tags (Let's Go); Cardstock-American Crafts; Pie Chart-Gossamer Blue Cut File

Not in Kit:  Adhesive-ThermOWeb; Letters-American Crafts; Pen-Sharpie

I used some of the digital files on the layout, just as little touches here and there.

Cheeto is Finn's nickname and it's been "Team Cheeto" ever since.  The travel theme of the kit worked well with the dog show theme!  And I finally used a pie chart on a layout, thanks to a push from Gossamer Blue and a little contest.

I am off to the dentist today and that is an entirely different story in itself.  Terrified, is only one word to describe it.  And it's only for a cleaning.  If I survive, I will be back tomorrow!

OH before I forget, ThermOWeb has a contest going on where you can win CASH!  Whoop!  So check out all the information HERE.

Always Family with Gossamer Blue and NEW CREATE Magazine!

And July 15th, really?  I am just NOT getting where my days are disappearing to at all.  I think I have all this time and then, WHAM, nope, nada, zilch.

Family, if you think about it, is a strange word.  Everyone thinks that family is this:   a group of people who are related to each other (thanks Merriam-Webster).  But, in reality, family are the people that you surround yourself with, whether you are related or not.  Honestly, I do not have a lot of "family" left that I am related to.  But, I do have groups of what I consider "family" that I am not related to, but at times feel closer to them than my own.  I know this is not a revelation on any level to anyone, but sometimes as I look thru other people scrapping their memories and families, I have to remind myself of this very fact.  And the fact that there is NOTHING wrong with it, just different!

Ok, enough of the being "brainy" on here!  Love this photo of Carleen's aunt and uncle with their grandkids.  I had to steal it off Facebook to scrap it!  And three of those babies are adopted, but loved so so much!
