Pottery Peeps and Run Like No One Is Watching You...a Paper Bakery Share

Hey there!  Sharing really quickly, trying to pack for a crop with a hurting back.  Sounds kind of like NOT a good thing to be doing!  I "think" my SI joint popped out of place in the middle of the night on Sunday, because Monday was horrible.  Then during the night on Monday I felt something "pop" back in and I could tell a difference.  Tuesday was a little better, Wednesday better than Tuesday and then today a WHOLE lot better!  But let me tell you... NOT FUN!

I had these two layouts up over on The Paper Bakery blog the other day.  I had wanted to share them before now, but life got in the way.  These are made with the new September Art Fair kits (scrapbooking and Capture 365).  I will say, these kits have very much an "artsy" feel to them, so these layout are different than my usual style!   AND there is now a Card kit option for The Paper Bakery!

And the other one.  Pretty sure I have scrapped this picture of Sheldon before, but I really really love it, so it's worth it to do it again!  I did a lot of Silhouette Cameo work with the sketch pens on this one.  That drawn (and cut out) feather is the free download with the kit this month!

I used the sketch option in Silhouette Studio and picked the one Continuous for the Edge Sketch and then I filled in with Scribble.  I was hoping it would turn out and it did!

Ok, pack to packing!  I promise more goodies next week.  I have a WorldWin project with some new paper, another card for Therm O Web, and some Bella Blvd. layouts.  I did try out, but since I didn't make it, I can share them now!  AND here is why I need to pack!!!  Yes, that is the state of my table and trying to pack!  LOL

Will try to update today!

Hey everyone!  I will try to update today.  I did something horrible to my back and have barely been able to get thru work!

I am on the mend and able to function now!!!  Off to work!

Pinspired Challenge at Gossamer Blue

I was in a mood to play along with something after I finished that two page layout, so I decided to keep my Gossamer Blue kit out and use it for the Pinspired challenge that Emily hosts at Gossamer Blue every month.

I decided to go with the aqua/orange theme, but added splashes of navy in for some fun.  (plus I love that diamond paper!)

Gossamer Blue September Main Kit with Paper Add-ons

Supplies in Kit:  Pattern Paper-Carta Bella Hello Again (Hello Floral *background/Chit Chat *speech bubbles/Hello Chevron *chevron/Journaling Cards *teal & white pattern/Stripes *striped paper), Gossamer Blue Graphical (Ikat) *navy blue diamond paper; Journaling Tag-Carta Bella Hello Again; Large Title Tag-Carta Bella Hello Again; Stickers-Carta Bella Hello Again (don't tell anyone & so happy together); Buttons-My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste Charm Hey You

Supplies not in kit:  Doilies-Hobby Lobby; Twine-May Arts; Pen-Sharpie; Adhesives-Therm O Web

Hee Hee, this tag cracked me up and since I already had this picture printed out, I thought it would work well for a title!

Just the journaling tag, the size of it worked out well.

Well, that is it from me for now.  I am crazy busy with a few things here at the house and at work.  I will see if I can sneak in an update tomorrow!

Therm O Web And Paper Bakery Card Shares

Just a couple of quick card shares tonight.  This first card was up over at Paper Bakery a week or so ago.  Using the August Scrapbook Kit "Hello You" I made an easy birthday card.

The bow is a cut file in the Silhouette store.

And then last week, I also had a New Job card up over on the Therm O Web Adhesives blog.  LOTS of card inspiration over there if you are needing some card idea!  And you can see a few photos of my process putting it together.

Supplies: Pattern Paper-Carta Bella Hello Again Collection, Cardstock-WorldWin Papers; Ribbon-May Arts; Button-Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker; Adhesives-Therm O Web; Silhouette Cameo

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great Tuesday!

Sketch Week-Using Gossamer Blue's September Kit

Holy moly, the weekend flew by!  I cannot say that I did much.  I mainly worked on this layout for the entire weekend.  I had part of it done fairly quick and then I hit a wall.

It's Sketch Week again over on Allison Davis' blog and I thought I would jump in again.  I loved the sketch (even though I changed it) and knew that I wanted to try a two page this time around.

Here is my take on it.  Love these random shots of Sheldon.  I changed the photos from 6 to 4, because a few of my shots were too similar to tell a difference.

Silhouette Cameo with the following cut files or sketch files

Dear Lizzy Love Tree   Design ID #46099
Days of Week   Design ID #25831
Dandelions   Design ID #28272
Plant Sprigs (I have looked and look and it's not in the Sil. store, so????)

Here is the sketch that I worked from.  This will be available for download on Scrapbook Generations website on Tuesday for FREE!  It will include the cuts sizes of the papers.

Here is my favorite part of the entire layout!  The Dear Lizzy file isn't really made for cutting.  So, I sketched it onto some of the new lightweight Chipboard from WorldWin Papers that cuts great in the Cameo!  I did an offset after I sketched it, to be able to cut it out.

The plant springs that I cannot figure out where I got them from!

Chic Tags Sketch and Gossamer Blue August

Well, I had "planned" on updating yesterday, but Flickr had other plans.  Bad panda maintenance that I was not aware of! least it made me laugh!

My friend, Ashley Horton, is on the Chic Tags design team and made the sketch for the sketch challenge.  Of course, I wait until the last minute to jump in!  Used my Gossamer Blue August kit, to get that fourth layout done and added a few Chic Tags to tie it all together.

Just my random journaling.  I am starting to actually like it!

The free (and fun) cut file from Chic Tags.  I needed a little something there and I think I made it work.

This week, I should have project updates with Paper Bakery, Therm O Web, and the rest of my August Gossamer Blue layouts.  (I waited until the very last week to get them all done)  Plus, it's Sketch Week again and you will be shocked.  Not my normal "size" of layout.  Have a great weekend!

Gone Fishin' Gossamer Blue August Sketch Layout #1

I am not really sure where September went?  There is no way that it should be Sept. 12th and the month basically half over.  The only thing good about it, is that means fall is a whole lot closer than it was a month ago!

Dragging out some old pictures to scrap.  When we used to get pictures developed (before I started scrapbooking), we always got doubles.  So we would have extras if we wanted to take them to work, etc.  I started looking thru and found this picture of Ella.  I have to admit, since I have gotten a little more serious about my photography, these are hard for me to scrap, because I see how they could have been better.  BUT, they need to be done!  And I really needed to dig into my GB kit to get my four layouts done!

And sorry guys, it's late and I am going to be lazy and not post the supplies!  Just know that it's mostly all from Gossamer Blue's August Kits (Main and paper add ons!)  And this is based on GB's sketch for the month HERE

I loved these little sequins, but they did take some time to attach!

Hee hee, the "camping" theme worked with the fishing outfit!

Alrighty, that is all from me. Work has been crazy.  I got a promotion that I was not expecting, so now I get to learn my job basically all over again.  Which is a little stressful to say the least.  I will hopefully be back on Friday with something good here!

Jeston and Sheldon-Paper Bakery August Kit "Hello You"

Quickie post tonight.  It's been a crazy weekend with an allergy attack, a fun cookout with friends and then today was "painting" the living room day.  Let me rephrase that....Carleen was/is painting the living room.  I am told to stay away and keep back.  I end up with more paint on me than on the walls if I get involved!

This layout was up over on the Paper Bakery blog on Thursday, read all about it and how I came up with it HERE.  This layout was the joining of two sketches that Juliana had created for August.

The kits features lots of Carta Bella, October Afternoon, and American Crafts.  These kits have been my favorite since I started designing for Paper Bakery!

Paper Bakery August"Hello You"Scrapbook Kit
Paper Bakery August "Hello You" Capture 365 Kit
Paper Bakery Pie Chart Stamp

Here I used the fun stamp to just accent on my page.

I did lots of layering and a lot of it was with the 6x6 pad of Carta Bella that was in the Capture 365 kit. I also used the printable that come with the kit.  They are what the dogs names are on!

Just a shot of the October Afternoon journaling tag and some fun flair!

Hope you had a great holiday weekend in if you are in the US.  And if not, I hope your Monday was a tolerable one!  Ugh, back to work tomorrow.  Not that I don't love it, but I could use some more time off!  I didn't really get anything done that I was planning on.  But it was fun just hanging out with Car and the dogs!
