I had this layout also that posted over on the WorldWin blog on Friday. I played around with some of my favorite things...GCD, Paper Bakery, Laina Lamb Stamps, and WorldWin! It was fun to combine them all!
This layout uses the Colormates cardstock. I can tell you that both the Petallics and the Colormates cut wonderfully in any die cutting machine.
I used the Medium Coffee Brown, which is a great kraft color, for my background. Then I used White for my center strip and to stamp on.
Supplies: Cardstock- WorldWin Colormates in Medium Coffee Brown and White; Pattern Paper-GCD Studios Nostalgia paper collection; Flair-Paper Bakery Flair (You've Been Geotagged); Stamps-Laina Lamb Designs Stamps (Right This Way); Letters-GCD Chipboard Letters, American Crafts Thickers and October Afternoon; Doily-Wilton; Twine-May Arts jute; Adhesives-Scotch and 3L Scrapbook Adhesives; Ink-Prima Chalk Ink (Tin Roof); Punch-EK Success
Silhouette Cameo with the following cut file
Design ID #38761
The Colormates cardstock stamps great! I used a chalk ink to stamp and it gave more of a distressed softer look, which fits with the layout. And that little Paper Bakery flair geotag flair was a perfect addtion to the stamped saying!
Here you can see how cleanly the Colormates cut in my Cameo. I just layered some pattern paper behind my openings to break it up some. I love the GCD Nostalgia collection a LOT. So far it's my favorite!
Whew, I think that was a long post. Or at least it took me a long time to type it up. I get a little distracted, to say the least! Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!
