Basically Bare and Xyron have teamed up this week for a swap! And there could be giveaways involved!! I was sent a glue stick and the Create A Sticker maker in the 2.5 inch size!
I fell in love with the Walnut Grove collection from Pebbles and wanted to use it. I know a lot of people will match pictures to their paper, but I am not one of those. As long as it doesn't clash too bad, I am good with it!
Supplies: Pattern Paper-Pebbles (Walnut Grove); Stickers-Pebbles (Walnut Grove); Heart/Wings/Frame/Button/Cloud-Basically Bare; Flair-{a flair for buttons} Etsy Shoppe; Letters-October Afternoon, American Crafts; Punch-EK Success; Ribbon-May Arts; Adhesive-Xyron
Silhouette Cameo with the following cutting file:
Design ID #34196
Some frame work! And see below about how I added dimension with Xyron!
I am a foam dimensional adhesive user, lover...well addict! Have you ever ran out of it? I panic, but now I don't have too!!! Look at what I did with the sticker maker. I know I am not the first to come up with this, but sometimes we just need to be reminded! I just cut a few strips of fun foam and then ran it thru the sticker maker twice! Instant foam dimensional adhesive!
I used it here on the letters for "flutter" also.
And I used a Basically Bare button as the base for my flair piece. It just needed a little extra here and the button was the perfect touch!
I hope that you enjoyed my project for the swap! Be sure to check out both Basically Bare and Xyron the rest of the week for some great ideas and projects!!
BEAUTIFUL layout!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, I have seen this idea for the foam "tape," but I had completely forgotten it! Thank you, as my foam dots are down to nothing and I keep forgetting to buy more. I love your flair piece! Buttons can add so much!
