Puppy Food Run-Cocoa Daisy Fun

First of all, totally in love with how this came out!  Once I got the August Cocoa Daisy kit, I knew that the colors were perfect for these pictures of Carleen.  The kit has somewhat of a travel theme, so time to change it UP.

I started with that Silhouette area.  First with bones, but then I didn't like just that so I added in the paws.  I luckily kept the leftover cutouts, because I thought I might be able to incorporate them into my page a some point.  I decided that section need a border and since I was in the Cameo mode, I looked thru my files and found that fun border from Laina and thought it would look great with that orange map paper.  After that it was a lot of playing and moving until I got everything the way I wanted it.

Supplies:  Pattern Paper-Heidi Swapp (No Limits), Studio Calico (Abroad), Basic Grey (Clippings), Bazzill Basics (Wayfarer), My Mind's Eye (Indie Chic); Element Stickers-Basic Grey (Clippings); Twine-May Arts; Ink-Maya Road; Washi Tape-We R Memory Keepers

Additional Supplies not in kit:
Flair-{a flair for buttons} Etsy Shop; Letters-American Crafts Thickers;  Adhesive-Scotch ATG, Fabri-Tac and Scrapbook Adhesives;

Silhouette Cameo with the following cutting files:

I just used one of my leftover bones and made a little cluster of embellishments.  I HAD to add that WOOF flair button.
That corner was begging for it!

A close up of my Silhouette work, along with the fabby camera stamp that was in this month's kit!  I pieced together that cut out background from the files above.  It took some playing, but I figured out how to erase some of the cut lines to make half elements in spots.  I then took my leftovers again and used the other side of them since it was white graph paper.  Inked them and then popped them up.  I LOVE that postage stamp border, it's from Laina Lamb Designs at Two Peas.

Well, I think I am going to go scrap for the weekend!!  (i.e. you are probably reading this during the week!)  Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.
