The Bean-Cocoa Daisy Layout

I am starting to scrap some older pictures, just because I haven't scrapped them yet and keep putting them off.  I think I need incentive to scrap the older ones, because I have worked hard to get my photography skills better and the better the picture, the bigger the urge to get it on a page and scrapped! I just have to keep in my head the following..."it's ok if the picture is not perfect, it's still scrapable."  (I may have just butchered that word, but spell check is saying no....ha)

This is one of those pictures from July 2011, when I made my first trip to CHA.  And Chicago was in the middle of a heatwave.  I was not a happy camper and I was a sweaty mess....while Jennifer Priest and Suzy West were looking fresh as freaking daisies!  That would be why the picture with us is on the small side and the Bean picture is big!  hee hee

Supplies-Pattern Papers-Jillibean Soup (Spinach), LilyBee (Lemonade and Hopscotch), Simple Stories (Bingo/Stripe), American Crafts (Amy Tangerine Saffron Study), My Mind's Eye (Howdy Doody Ledger); Stickers-Pink Paislee (Prairie Hill), Jenni Bowlin (Hodge Podge Playful); Washi Tape-Queen and Co.; Hello Tag and Pink Tag-Ormolu; Chipboard Letters-Jillibean Soup

Not in Kit-Journaling Tag-Elle's Studio; Adhesive-Scotch ATG, Scrapbook Adhesives; Punches-Martha Stewart Button Punch and border punch, Twine-May Arts

The fun sticker from Pink Paislee and the cute little Ormolu tag.

Just a shot of the journaling and you can see how horrible I look!

Had some fun playing with my title...

So, my motto is going to be get the pictures scrapped!  And that it not to say, I might just need to be in the mood to scrap them.  Maybe that is what I should use my Cocoa Daisy kits for, scrapping my older pictures?!....hmmmm...let me think on that one.  I will get back with you!

  2. Girl you are getting a ton of pages done! I love the power we have to choose the size & crop that we want those not so great photos to be. It's so important to have them on the layout though!
