I realized the other day that I haven't scrapped any pictures of Higgins recently. If you have "multiple" subjects, do you feel a little guilty scrapping one more than the other? I don't care if it is kids, dogs, cats, bunnies, or zombies, I feel guilty if one of the dogs gets scrapped more than the other. Sheldon has been getting a lot of "face time", so it was time to change it up!
Ok my poll is....Do you like how I staged the picture of the full layout? OR do you prefer it like I normally have them on here? I just need to know going forward. I already have some that I have taken this way, but if my readers like the "flat" only layout picture better, I can do either! PLEASE leave me a comment letting me know.
And if you look close..I got my FAVORITE punch again, yippee!!!! I couldn't wait to play with it. I have had these pictures printed literally since I started scrapping. The cabinet I picked up at Big Lots to hold some of my things in. When we were getting it set up and the shelves figured out, Higgins crawled on in. He is a crate lover and that is where you can often find him.

This spot screamed for another butterfly in flight, so yeah, I did it!
This layout is based on a sketch by Kristy over at ScrapbookSteals.com. It's Turquoise #4 for Mid Week Mojo. Here is a little more about Mid Week Mojo . So, there are some great things over at ScrapbookSteals.com for you to play along and I hope you do. And this leads into the following announcement......
If you haven't heard....Sketch Support is taking a break. You can read the announcement on the Sketch Support blog. I know a lot of you are big Sketch Support fans and we love all of you. I am going to miss creating for Sketch Support while we are on break, but I totally agree with the decision that Allison has made to take a break....sometimes you just need to step back and smell the roses, before picking back up and moving along.....
It's perfect Katrina, love the composition, the dimension and the color palette...cheers to you!!
ReplyDeleteI like it too.... AWESOME layout!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, sweet page, Katrina. Love the mixed title and fun details. I like when you photograph your projects on the easel. Your photos always look great!
ReplyDeleteI really like it like this!
ReplyDeleteI really like this one too! The circles & butterflies are great. I think you are starting to inspire me to get some pages of my doggies scrapbooked. They must be sad! (havent done a layout of them for a while) lol.
ReplyDeleteI like photos taken both ways! I know not much help, but it looks great either way so I say do what is easiest for you! =) Great LO!
ReplyDeleteI am with Erica!! I think either way looks great and I think you have just enough of the background showing in this one, without it being too busy...and the layout is fabulous!! :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute layout! I like both ways of photographing, but quite frankly, I admire the 'flat' ones more because I can't seem to do that to save my life! HA! :-)
