A Sad Tale and a fun Card!

Want to hear my sad tale first?  Well, it's not "that" sad, but it is to me!  And when I went to post this card, I thought about my sad tale.  See that scalloped edge on the side?  It's made with one of my favorite border punches.  Well, used to be one of my favorites.  It BROKE!  It was jammed and I tried everything to get it unjammed...including the freezer trick...and alas, it did not work.  And I threw it away.

I need to see if it is even still available, because I really really want another one! But I am glad that I got this card made before it broke.  (it broke on another project I will have up later in the month!)

Supplies - Patterned Paper: Little Yellow Bicycle (Paradise); Cardstock: American Crafts;  Pins: Little Yellow BicycleChipboard: Little Yellow Bicycle (Paradise); StickersLittle Yellow Bicycle; Adhesives: Scotch and Fabri Tac; Ribbon: Hobby Lobby;
 Punches: EK Success;  Floss: DMC

I know I have been playing with the Paradise collection A LOT, but the colors are so me!  And with once I start with a Little Yellow Bicycle collection, I can't seem to stop until I create about five or six projects with it!!

These pins are so fun, but I am such a klutz that I kept sticking myself!!  At least I kept my project clean!  hee hee

Fun stuff coming up later in the week, my very first post as a design team member for Basically Bare!  I can't wait to show you the fun stuff I got to play with and what I created!  Have a wonderful day!

  1. I feel your pain! Well, I understand your pain. I have this punch too. I find it hard to use, but I love the look.

  5. Well boo on your fave punch! Did you try using a screwdriver and a light tap with a hammer? That's how my DH got one of mine undone. Anyway, I'm glad you were able to crank out this beautiful card before it broke. I always worry about sticking myself with these pins and ending up with blood on a page. LOL!
