Tags, Tags, and More Tags

I HAVE more puppy pictures, but I am going to post them later, so that you don't pass out from all the cuteness!!

I have a bunch of projects from CHA that I haven't posted yet, either because I have not edited the pictures (including my "friend" pictures!) or I didn't get to take pictures of them before they are a couple of layouts in there I want to show!

These are some tags that I made for the booth with three of the new Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker collections...Audrey, Messages, and Exit Here.

With Audrey

With Exit Here

With Messages

Since these are tags I am not going to list all the supplies...the papers are all Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker and the tags themselves come from Staples.  BTW, big box of 500 manila tags for around 15-20 bucks!  What a bargin!!

I am going to give you a peek of what I am working on right now.  I can't wait till I get it done.  It's a Basically Bare mini album that I am doing about the puppy party!!  Just a peek!

I took the picture with my iPad, but we all know the iPad doesn't take the best I did some editing and used my Lo-Fi app for the computer and magically looks better already!!!  I cut that title out with my Silhouette Cameo and I like the way it looks.  I think you do have to shadow some when doing titles like this most of the time if you are using pattern papers.  Also, smaller patterns work best.

Warning...Cuteness OVERLOAD!

Well, I  have nothing crafty to post today.  Ekk..right?  Well, not really!  The crafty stuff I have done, I can't show yet!  AND, we took a day trip Saturday to our friend, Laura's.  It was a three hour drive one way, so definitely gone the entire day!

Why would we drive three hours each way...PUPPY PARTY!!!  Laura bred a litter of Cardigan Welsh Corgis and she had a puppy party to socialize them with strangers.  And we get the benefit of fun puppy playing, petting, and breath!

I am going to post a few now and then a few on Tuesday, to split them up.  I wouldn't want anyone to pass out from the cuteness!!!

Will be back later with more!!!!

Let's Dig...Sketch Support One Page Sketch

I have had an idea in my mind since I went to CHA.  Hexagons were ALL over at CHA on everything....which gave me the idea.  I don't ever really consciously know where my inspiration comes from, so this was an unusual thing for me!

After looking at the sketch for Sketch Support this week, I decided that this might be the sketch to try this on!!

Patterned Paper: American Crafts (Chap Collection); Stamps: Unity Stamp Co. (S.M.A.K Jan. and Feb. 2012); Adhesives: Scotch, GlueArts and Scrapbook Adhesives;

Tools: Silhouette Cameo with Silhouette files

Well, that is it from me!!!  Stop by over at Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker this week and next to welcome all our returning and new Divas!

A Crafty Steals Sketch Challenge

I was hanging out on Facebook (who doesn't?!) when the Crafty Steals Facebook page came up in my newsfeed with this sketch challenge.

I usually don't participate in challenges much anymore, I just don't have time. But, I had left over die cuts that I had done on my Silhouette Cameo and they fit the sketch perfectly!!!  The main project I had created them for will be on Sketch Support this week.

Supplies-Pattern Paper & Cardstock: American Crafts (Chap Collection); Twine: The Twinery Baker's Twine; Stamp: Unity Stamp Co. (S.M.A.K kit Jan. 2012);
Ink: Jenni Bowlin (Spice Tin); Mist: Mister Huey's Dewy;
Adhesives: Scotch and Scrapbook Adhesives; Tag-Staples

Tools: Silhouette Cameo with the files below; EK Success Border Punch

Here is the sketch that was the basis for my card.....

So, that is it for me today.  I was busy creating yesterday a double page layout...those just seem to take me a long time!  And I am off to create today and possibly watch Breaking Dawn Part 1!!

My next Card Party class!

The Card Party class at Scrapbook Generation skipped the month of January, but we are BACK this month!  I really want to show people to get creative with your tools and can make some fun things with just a little thought and changing things up a bit.

Supplies: Cardstock-American Crafts; Pattern Paper-Lily Bee Design (Memorandum collection); Twine-The Twinery Baker's Twine; Buttons-Making Memories; Stamp-Unity Stamp Co. S.M.A.K. Kit (Dec. 2011); Ink-Jenni Bowlin (Weathervane);
Adhesive-Fabri-Tac, Scotch ATG

Tools: Silhouette Cameo with the following files

And like a silly girl with a camera, when I started out on my journey to CHA, I wanted to take pictures of everything....then after I got there the camera magically did not make much of an appearance!  (could have been because I was just plain busy!)  BUT I did capture this beautiful sunrise at the airport while waiting for my plane!

I guess I better go clean up the mess I have everywhere!  I quickly did a layout that was due for Sketch Support and the aftermath is all over the floor!

This post has been a long time coming!

I cannot believe it has been almost a month since I blogged.  Everything was crazy busy up until CHA and then at the last minute Nikki asked me if I could go and help in the booth!  So, there was no time for me to get in some blog posts before I left.

I have CHA pics that I will share.  I didn't take too many, I was too busy!  I got to meet lots of people that I only know thru blogging or Facebook so that was quite fun.  My hotel room was my "home away from home" at night for sure!  The weather was perfect while I was in Anaheim and I even got to experience those "Santa Ana" winds I am always hearing about on the news.

Here are a few of my projects that I did with the new Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker Messages collection.  The collection is a little out of the normal for Nikki, with both the style and the colors, but I do love it!

And Nikki has a FABULOUS deal over on her blog!!!  It's a "BOX OF LOVE" which contains two collections, plus extras!!!

Here is the link to order!!!      BOX OF LOVE Special!

Ok, that is it from me tonight.  I hope to be back later in the week with some more goodies to post!
