Nikki Sivils Layout-Day-and Sketch 178 For Scrapbook Challenges

Whoa....stop the internet! I am blogging two days in a row!!! Whoo hooo!!! Call it a miracle, call it getting my act together, call it what you want. I am doing this right after work, so I have NO excuse later to put it off!!!

I love this paper line from Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker...yes she is a personal friend, but I would love it anyway! I love fun paper to work with and this is FUN! Who would have thought of black for Valentine's?? NOT me! Pink all the way baby. :) And the entire layout, except the ribbon, is ALL Nikki's papers!!! How cool is that?! Using my new Slice I was able to create the titling, letters, and hearts super easy and in a flash! That includes the shadowing on the word "therapy". :)

Here is the entire layout from my sneak peek yesterday. I am so happy with this layout. You know how it is when things just come together?? This was layout was one of them. It helps that I used one of Pamela's fab sketches from Scrapbook Challenges. Scrappers, there are some great sketches over there to get you jump started on your mojo if you are lacking it after the busy holiday rush.

Supplies used: Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker-Patterned paper/Stamps (U R My Favorite Line) Warm Cord Brads, Craft Flag, Willie B Font Stamps; Ribbon is unknown; Cat's Eye Ink, Tombow and Glue Arts Adhesive. Die Cutting-Making Memories Slice (Basic Card 2, Think Pink, and Mix & Mingle) Border Punch-Martha Stewart

And if you are in the Springfield Missouri area on January 9th, 2010 be sure to stop by Scrapbook Generation in Springfield. They are having a Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker Day to celebrate Nikki's success and to DEBUT TWO of the new lines that are going to be at CHA at the end of January!!! I have a couple of the lines in my hot little hands and they are EXCITING and DIFFERENT! And Nikki asked me to help her and I am super excited that we FINALLY get to work together in the same spot! There are more details on Scrapbook Generation's blog....that's a link guys!!!! There is a special class that day that you need to pre-register and pay for. And then there are some fun mini classes that are free! So stop by and say hi! I would love to meet you.

Here's the sketch that Pamela did for the layout above....It just made me want to do it the moment I saw it. :) And she will soon be announcing the new members of the Scrapbook Challenges Design Team! I can't wait to find out who made it!

SKETCH 178 By Pamela Young for Scrapbook Challenges
