OMG...a layout with a KID in it!!!! And Nikki's Winner

Hi guys!!!! Nikki has posted her winner for her layout challenge. Congrats to Paula Hanna! And you can check out the announcement and her layout HERE!!!!

This is the first "holiday season" that I have been scrapping. I have lots of plans....a few Christmas cards to those that would appreciate handmade cards, some scrappy gifts that I am planning on making to give, and a few holiday decorations for the house. Note the word "PLANS or PLANNING"! I am currently making a Christmas word banner with Nikki Sivils North Pole Night's collection. The mini paddie to be exact. Letters covered, check. Edges inked, check. Creative ideas of things to put on the letters.....mmmm....check????? I am currently stumped at the moment. I have ideas or have done 4 of them...the other four...well, I need to think on a bit! I will post some sneak peeks this week. The A is SUPER cute and I don't think I can top it for the other letters, so it will be the one letter that stands out I think.

And I know....it RARELY happens on here...a layout with a KIDDO, CHILD, YARD MONKEY (yes....I love this term!) you name it there are not many on here. I don't have any really "small" ones to scrap...although I may have to take my co-worker up on the offer of her kids...they are super cute and one is quite the poser!

This layout is ME! Yes, I was bald as a baby...well, until I was around FOUR! No hair to speak of and the only time you knew I had any was when the little ringlets would from at the bottom of my neck when I was hot!

This is me at 1 year old! This October Afternoon paper just rocks! LOVE IT! And think I have to get more of their product soon. So fun to work with and everything just flowed! You may see more of my kid pics soon. Mom brought me a few to scrap with and I am just scanning them in and reprinting them to scrap. I really don't want to do anything to the originals. So, enjoy the layout and if you, my readers, EVER have any feedback for me or my layouts...PLEASE give me a shout out. I am still learning and hope to never stop. And if you give me an idea or a technique...you might just get featured on here!!! How about them apples...or oranges...or turkeys...since it is the holiday season!!!!

Supplies: All October Afternoon Cherry Hill papers,
Prima flowers, May Arts Ribbon, Lace unknown,
American Crafts Thickers, Paper Studio Chipboard letters,

a variety of Martha Stewart Border Punches,
Cat's Eye Inks, Fabric Tac and Tombow Adhesives,

Ranger Paint Daubers

Have a Scrappy Kind of Day!!~~Katrina
